These large natural abalone shell pieces with a stringing hole at the top have a single ��scallop edge. The front surface is smooth without any engraving. Each piece has been cut by hand from different parts of the natural shell, so the iridescent pattern and coloring varies from piece to piece. Made in Germany in the mid 1970s with shells imported from Japan.
